What is Dropshiping
A
drop shipper is a business that stocks merchandise and sells it to you
(the reseller) — but ships the merchandise directly to your customer.
First
you register with a dropshipper .
Then
you copy the pictures and description into your auction and place on
ebay, ebid, qxl etc.
Once
you receive notification of a sale, you simply collect your customers
funds for the retail price of that sale, being sure to have included
all shipping and handling fees. You can collect payment any way you
wish, Paypal, Nochex, cheque or even cash if thats what you want .
Once
you have been paid you then make your own order with a dropshipper and
once you have paid them they will deliver the goods to your customer
.
You get to keep the difference in price between what the dropshipper
charged and what the item sold for .
Drop-shipping
has some very strong advantages
No
inventory costs.
Having to buy stock to sell to your customers is expensive. In addition
to the costs, you need somewhere to keep the stoc . Finally you have
to collate and ship the products once the order is placed.
Having a drop shipper take all these costs and responsibilities lifts
a real burden off your shoulders.
Dropshipping
is transparent. With some dropshippers, you can send them labels and
forms so their package looks like it is from you. Your customer probably
won't know that your hands never touched the product.
You
can find a drop-shipper for virtually any product you want in Just a
few minutes
